These were my most difficult years in life so far.  School was very hard as I’ll explain in more detail later.  However, it was during this period that I did my first bit of travelling outside the UK.  I went with my mum and dad to Torremolinos in February 1988, using up one of my very early wage packets from work to do it.  Unfortunately, there still aren’t very many photos from this period of life.
