These are the only photos that I have from my early childhood.  Those were the days when you only usually took photos when on holiday and you bought some camera film with the ability to take 24 photos and you rationed them a few a day.  You then waited ages to get them developed.  All excited you got the pack of photos in your hand only to find out you got the back of somebody’s head instead, or the photos had stickers on saying “too dark”, “too light” etc.  You quickly realised at that age that life often came with a lot of disappointment!
